Mother's Day is just around the corner, and you still don't have a gift idea? You're in the right place! We quietly rolled up our sleeves and put together a few simple gift baskets, filled with approachable, versatile wines from rosés, sparkling wines, and white and red wines alike. They're perfect for Mother's Day toasts, socializing, or pairing with a variety of dishes at the dinner table.
There are as many different kinds of mothers as there are... well, mothers, so Mother's Day gifts come in all shapes and sizes too! We've included several different types of wines, and in addition to the standard wine bottle size (0.75 l), we've also included piccolo-sized bottles—half bottles (37.5 cl) or 20 cl bottles, which give you just the right amount for a couple of glasses. You'll find these small bottles in the "Small and Quality Sparkling" and "Wines for Best Friends" Mother's Day gift baskets.
We recommend taking your gift basket to the next level by adding your mom's favorite treats, or perhaps a fun new houseplant if she collects them!
Without further ado, let's start with the flower basket! What's in there?

Flower Basket
Looking for the perfect, cheerful Mother's Day gift idea? Forget traditional bouquets right from the start and surprise your mom this year with something special: Baron de Ley Semi Dulce wine and a beautiful flower basket!
Baron de Ley Semi Dulce offers a delicious taste experience for your mom. This semi-dry wine charms with its soft and fruity flavor, and its light sweetness is perfect for celebrating on a special day. Pair the wine with a fresh flower basket filled with your mom's favorite flowers, and you'll create a truly unforgettable gift that will delight her and make Mother's Day memorable.
Red Wine Basket
Buenos dias! The Mother's Day red wine basket greets you with a trio of quality Spanish wines straight from the Toro wine region in the Duero River valley! Tipping their hats are the youngest of the bunch, the "kid" Matsu El Picaro, the middle-aged "dude" basking in the sun, Matsu El Recio, and the old and wise "old man," Matsu El Viejo. The grape is the juicy Tempranillo, and the whole bunch is also suitable for vegans. In the Matsu series wines, the age of the winemaker on the label describes the wine's character, maturation, development, and also the age of the vines.
Matsu El Picaro is medium-bodied, with a pleasant berry flavor. This sociable wine is also the king of the dinner table!
Matsu El Recio is a refined, full-bodied and developed food wine, especially for enjoying with meats and cheeses.
The festive Matsu El Viejo, on the other hand, is a big and very full-bodied wine for dark meat dishes, game, steaks, and aged cheeses.

Small and Quality Sparkling
How about a glass of luxury? Of course you can! Champagne is the most classic nobility of sparkling wines, and Nicolas Feuillatte Réserve Exclusive Brut (20cl) serves you one generous wine glass or two smaller ones.
Réserve Exclusive is the cornerstone of the entire Nicolas Feuillatte champagne house range, and it beautifully captures the producer's current style with its lightness, liveliness, and freshness. Delicious drinkability, exceptional versatility, and refined elegance make it a glass of champagne for life's good moments. When only the best will do.
And then some delightful rosé sparkling from Trentino, Italy! Rotari Gran Rosé Brut (20 cl) is made from hand-picked Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel tanks to preserve fruitiness. Rotari Gran Rosé Brut is made using the traditional bottle fermentation method and ages on its yeast lees for at least 36 months.
The result is a truly stylish toast wine that pairs well with savory snacks and appetizers, but it's also a full-blooded food wine with, for example, shellfish, fatty fish, or white meats.

Wines for Best Friends
For friends too! The Monte dos Amigos wine series celebrates friendship, and many mention their mother as one of their best friends. Everything is better shared with friends, including good wine. So we've gathered the straightforward and friendly Monte dos Amigos wines in half bottles in this basket.
Monte dos Amigos Rosé and Monte dos Amigos Tinto both have the additional descriptor "Entertaining" on the label. It doesn't just tell of easily enjoyable social wines, but of carefully made wines where, in the Rosé, a slight sweetness supports the fruitiness, opens up its rosy freshness, and gives it more dimensions when approaching the table's offerings.
The modern-styled Monte dos Amigos Tinto, on the other hand, has abundant fruit aromas. The taste is softly fruity, richly berry-like, supple, long, and balanced. The juicy wine is silky in tannins and easily approachable.

Pink Wine Basket
From May to summer, not a day without rosé! The pink wine basket features the romantically colored Barton & Guestier Rosé, which is just as deliciously refined as it looks. This gently approachable wine typical of the Provence region is simply a pleasant French rosé that works well as a salad wine, for spicy food, and as an aperitif.
The wine is dry and nicely acidic. The taste is strawberry-like, apricot-like, and floral with a hint of light spiciness.

Riesling has been a hugely popular white wine grape for years, and what could be even trendier than the same thing in pink! Weinhof 519 Pink Riesling is an excellent social drink with crisp acidity. It also works well as a food wine for risottos, salads, and goat cheeses. In this distinctive wine, Riesling's acids taste clear, and Pinot Noir brings berry notes along with a delicate pale pink color. The wine also has a fun technical detail, as it is aromatized with water. Wait, what? That's right: a drop of water had to be added to the wine, as German wine law does not allow rosé to be made from Riesling.
Wow, that's a lot of good options!
Happy Mother's Day!
