Pom Pom White

Delicious and versatile, Pom-Pom White is an excellent social wine and makes a wonderful aperitif. It pairs beautifully with canapés, salads, sushi, a variety of fish dishes, seafood pasta, and ratatouille. Suitable for vegans.

The success of Pom-Pom Rosé called for a white counterpart. To create it, Alexandre Relvas chose the Portuguese Antão Vaz grape for its structure and texture, reminiscent of Chardonnay or Godello. Arinto and Verdelho contribute freshness, vibrancy, and complexity. To enhance aromatic expression, he selected Viognier, a variety well known from the Rhône Valley. The Viognier undergoes a special maturation process in a large egg-shaped concrete tank. Its unique shape creates a natural rotational movement within the wine, keeping the settled yeast lees in continuous circulation. This technique imparts a creamy mouthfeel and elegant brioche notes to the finished wine.
