Tosti’s Famous Belly Button Bottles

In 1999, Tosti introduced its unique "belly button bottle" to the market to celebrate the new millennium. The bottle design is such a significant symbol for Tosti that it's protected as a trademark. Many have surely noticed the dimple in the bottle but don't know the story behind it. It can actually be quite practical, giving you a good grip on the bottle when pouring wine into a glass. The bottle's round shape and navel can be thought of as referring to motherhood and, through that, to Mother Nature—after all, wine is always made from grapes shaped by nature. However, Tosti gives everyone room to make their own interpretation of the dimple in the bottle, as it almost always gets you thinking about what it might really be about.
