Tosti is one of the world's most significant Moscato d'Asti DOCG producers. Moscato is a particularly important grape variety for them because it represents the culture and traditions of Tosti's home region. You can read more about the Moscato variety here.
The majority of Tosti's sparkling wines are made using the Charmat method. The driest of Tosti's sparkling wines are the Secco and Extra Dry labeled products, although even these are not completely bone-dry. The Demi-Sec label adds a bit more sweetness. The famous Tosti Asti Dolce, on the other hand, is "dolce," meaning sweet.
