Suitable as an aperitif, for cold cuts, for a wide variety of appetisers, for white fish and terrines. Bouzeron also tastes good with roasted vegetables and mushroom dishes.

Bouzeron is a fairly new quality rating, which has only existed since 1998. Wines with this quality rating are always white and made from the Aligoté grape. Bouzeron is a small village in Côte Chalonnais, next to Rully. The quality rating covers only 47 hectares. This wine is matured in French oak casks.

Producer story

Louis Jadot was established back in 1859 and still bears the name of its founder. Louis Jadot produces Burgundy wine and exclusively Burgundy wine along the long north-south strip of Burgundy, from the northern Chablis to the southern Beaujolais region. The house operates as a Propriétaire-Négociant, owning an extensive number of vineyards while also purchasing grapes from the best growers in the area. In the fragmented region of Burgundy, this is the only way to produce significant quantities of fine and consistent wine. Over the years, they have acquired vineyards, becoming the largest vineyard owner in the region with over 200 hectares. The winemaking skills and resources they possess have made Bacchus's head, emblematic of quality, the symbol of the house. Only a small fraction of Burgundy's most famous grower-producers reach this level of quality. Louis Jadot's wine selection is impressive and representative, whether discussing wines from the area, village-level wines, palate-pleasing Premier Cru vineyards, or dream Grand Cru vineyards.
