Gin Tonic is a familiar drink to everyone, but have you heard of coffee tonic?
Tia Maria Tonic is a tonic drink with a coffee twist. The original Gin&Tonic began its journey to global fame among classic cocktails as a drink to make taking malaria medicine easier. Quinine was originally consumed in tonic water, but the taste was so bitter that something had to be invented. Water, lime, sugar, and gin were added to the tonic, and thus the traditional GT was born.
Tia Maria Tonic won't cure malaria, but it's an absolutely wonderful coffee drink. This simple and surprisingly good combination works as a cocktail you can enjoy anytime. This refreshing drink is served in either a rocks or highball glass.
