Waimea Riesling is delightful as an aperitif and also suitable as a social wine. It is an excellent match for sushi, rich fish dishes, and seafood, and also pairs beautifully with salads and vegetarian dishes.
The grapes for Waimea Riesling were harvested early in the morning to keep them cool. Grapes from three premium vineyards were gently pressed into four unique juice batches, retaining only the free-run and lightly pressed fractions. Fermentation took place at cool temperatures in refrigerated stainless steel tanks using selected aromatic yeast strains to preserve the variety’s intensity and character. The wine was aged on light lees for six months before clarification by racking and blending.
Light greenish yellow, dry, acidic, green apple notes, minerally, ripe lime notes, tropical fruit notes, light flowery notes
