A wine for savoring and sophisticated socializing. It pairs well with high-quality pasta dishes, grilled meat or roasted duck, rich-flavored cheeses, and herb-infused vegetable stews.

On the coast of Tuscany in Maremma, the Tenuta Marsiliana has been owned by the Corsini family since 1759. Carlo Ferrini, a multiple-time Winemaker of the Year award recipient, serves as a consulting winemaker here. Since the 2016 vintage, the wines of Tenuta Marsiliana have been certified organic. Birillo is made from wine that, after a 10-month maturation, is not selected for Marsiliana. Afterward, the wine is blended and allowed to mature for an additional 2 months in used oak barrels.

Full-bodied, tannic, blackberry notes, herbal notes, blueberry notes.

Producer story

The Tenuta Marsiliana, located on the Maremma coast in Tuscany, has been owned by the Corsini family since 1759. Carlo Ferrini, a multiple-time winemaker of the year award recipient, serves as a consulting winemaker. Principe Corsini is one of Italy's most historical lineages. The family members have been actively involved in Italy's art scene by owning one of the country's largest private art collections. Principe Corsini produces wine in Tuscany's Chianti Classico and on the Maremma coast. The Maremma's Tenuta Marsiliana estate covers approximately 2,850 hectares, with only 30 hectares dedicated to vineyards.
