Craving berries, preferably in a warming hot drink? The heart of this hot beverage is Metsmaasikas Wild Strawberry strawberry liqueur and a generous dose of the forest's finest berries. Adding citrus freshness is none other than lemon, which together with the crisp berry liqueur really opens up your senses.
Spring Hot Punch has a wonderfully bright and sweet flavor, but the cranberry juice takes it to the next level by balancing the drink with its tartness. Despite the abundance of berries, the result isn't overly sweet, but rather a refreshingly berry-forward and balanced drink that appeals to many tastes.
This hot drink infused with forest berries is more than a worthy alternative to mulled wine or hot toddy, and works great for outdoor trips in a thermos. The marinated berries left at the bottom also make an easy and quick dessert—just pour the Metsmaasikas-marinated berries into a dessert bowl and serve with vanilla ice cream!
Spring Hot Punch
4 cl Metsmaasikas Wild Strawberry
8 cl cranberry juice
1 tsp sugar
2 lemon wedges
4-6 raspberries
4-6 black currants
4-6 blueberries

Here's how:
Place all ingredients except the Metsmaasikas liqueur in a pot. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Let the drink cool for a moment, then add the Metsmaasikas liqueur. Carefully pour the drink into a mug or heat-resistant glass. Enjoy the drink hot, and when finished you can eat the berries from the bottom of the mug with a spoon or enjoy them with vanilla ice cream, for example.
