A natural match for Italian and Mediterranean delicacies. Pizza and Pasta, antipasti, grilled meat, stews and roasted vegetables pair well with this wine. This wine is an excellent buffet wine. A gentle and mellow wine that also suits social occassions, or art events, perhaps?

Lisa was a noblewoman from the Gherardini family in Florence. The portrait of her painted by Leonardo da Vinci is one of the greatest masterpieces of the Italian Renaissance and the main attraction of the Louvre Art Museum. In addition to living in Florence, Lisa stayed in a small house in the Chianti countryside in the summer, and there was certainly no shortage of wine. When looking at his picture, an old saying comes to mind: water drinkers have not made great art. The wine made in his name is a meticulous blend of the most famous grape varieties in Italy, it is rich, generous and lightly baked. The wine makes you remember the Italian sun, picturesque hills, the life that so many dream of.

Medium-bodied, medium tannins, dark notes of cherry, lingonberry, milk chocolate

Producer story

Mare Magnum's company philosophy is clear: there are many expensive high-quality wines in the world, but the greatest demand actually lies in high-quality wines that come with a reasonable price. Experienced individuals, Takis Soldatos and Mario Calzolari, founded Mare Magnum to produce wines that cater specifically to this demand. The company's production started with Italian wines originating from Apulia, Abruzzo, Piedmont, Sicily, Tuscany, Umbria, and Veneto.

Mare Magnum's international team of winemakers continually travels the world, and their collaboration has resulted in many charming, modern wines from quite diverse locations. Currently, these include Australia, Spain, South Africa, South America, California, Greece, France, and New Zealand. Regardless of the country or wine, Mare Magnum's primary goal is to offer consumers exceptionally good value for money in innovative and attractive packaging.
