Sometimes the most remarkable creations are born from chance, happy crossings. Take, for example, the cross between the Peloursin and Syrah vines discovered by the French botanist François Durif. He developed a delicious new grape variety that deserved its own name: Durif, also known as Petite Sirah. And here begins your journey of discovery: you’ll experience full-bodied, rich, and vibrant flavors such as blackcurrant and plum, balanced by spicy, toasted oak. The grapes originate from the South Eastern Australia region, and the wine has been awarded gold medals.
