Gingery White Wine Tonic

White wine, lemon juice, and ginger syrup create a simple yet delicious cocktail.

Gingery White Wine Tonic

2 cl lemon juice
2 cl ginger syrup (recipe below)
8 cl Wolfberger Muscat
8 cl tonic water

Instructions: Measure the ingredients into a tall glass and stir gently with a spoon. Garnish with lemon peel.

The drink is ready!

Ginger Syrup

10 g peeled ginger
1 dl granulated sugar
1 dl water

Measure the water and sugar into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir until the sugar has dissolved in the water. Add the peeled and chopped ginger and simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes. Strain out the ginger and let the syrup cool.

This recipe makes enough syrup for about five drinks.

You can also make a larger batch of syrup, as it keeps well in the fridge in a clean, lidded container or bottle.
