Fresh White Wine for Shellfish Pasta

Ingredients (4 servings):

  • 350 g mixed shellfish (frozen) or fresh shellfish
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 carton cooking cream
  • salt and pepper
  • coriander or basil

Instructions:

If using frozen shellfish, thaw and drain them. Cook the pasta in salted water. Chop the onion and garlic and sauté them in oil in a pan. Add the cooking cream and let it simmer for a moment.

Add the shellfish mix and cook for about 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Add the chopped coriander or basil. Combine the sauce and pasta together. You can also serve them separately.

Tip! You can also cook the pasta in true Italian style in wine. You can use a more affordable wine for cooking. The alcohol evaporates during cooking. However, it's worth investing in the wine you serve with the meal.
