Glen Moray Phoenix Rising

“Virgin Oak Cask – a malt whisky matured in new oak casks.”

Glen Moray Phoenix Rising
Price 41,98 € / 70 cl

The inspiration behind the product is the Phoenix, the mythical bird that rises again and again from its ashes. In honor of this legendary creature, the balanced whisky is finished in Virgin Oak casks – new, charred oak barrels. The fire gives strength to the casks, imparting notes of creamy toffee, milk chocolate, ginger, and pepper to the whisky.

Golden-yellow, smooth, medium-bodied, no smoke, spicy, fruity, notes of cream candies

Producer story

The Glen Moray distillery is situated in Elgin, the largest town in Speyside. Despite the distillery being established in 1897, the current master distiller, Graham Coull, is only the fifth person to hold that position. Glen Moray distillery currently has over 250,000 barrels of malt whisky maturing. It is owned by the La Martiniquaise Group. La Martiniquaise is a private family-owned company. Jean Cayard founded La Martiniquaise in 1934, and it remains under the ownership of the Cayard family. The group is the second-largest alcohol company in France.
