Glen Moray was one of the first manufacturers to start finishing whiskey in wine casks. Alongside the Port Cask Finish product, the new Chardonnay Cask Finish was launched at the beginning of 2016. In early 2017, Glen Moray Sherry Cask Finish will be added to this renewed and versatile “oak finish” product family.

Medium-bodied, salmon red, with notes of berries, fudgy, notes of chocolate, no smokiness

Producer story

The Glen Moray distillery is situated in Elgin, the largest town in Speyside. Despite the distillery being established in 1897, the current master distiller, Graham Coull, is only the fifth person to hold that position. Glen Moray distillery currently has over 250,000 barrels of malt whisky maturing. It is owned by the La Martiniquaise Group. La Martiniquaise is a private family-owned company. Jean Cayard founded La Martiniquaise in 1934, and it remains under the ownership of the Cayard family. The group is the second-largest alcohol company in France.
