Segredos de São Miguel Tinto pairs beautifully with pasta dishes, lamb, poultry, and soft cheeses. It also makes a great match for grilled fish.

Segredos de São Miguel is a tribute to the culture, knowledge, and traditions of the people in our region. The grapes—Aragonez, Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet, and Touriga Nacional—were grown in clay-schist soils and harvested mechanically at night to ensure cool fruit. The grape stems were completely removed, and the grapes were gently pressed using a pneumatic press. A 48-hour skin contact preceded fermentation in cooled tanks at 21–25 °C. Malolactic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks, with oak staves adding flavor and structure. 10% of the wine was aged in 400-liter barrels.

Dark red, full-bodied, medium tannic, dark cherry notes, blueberry notes, light spice notes

Producer story

Casa Relvas, a Portuguese winery, aims to produce quality wines for all occasions; wines that evoke good times and represent Alentejo's gift to the world. Established in 1997, the young company has experienced significant growth, managing 750 hectares of cork-producing forests, 250 hectares of olive groves, and 350 hectares of vineyards. Consistency in high-quality production characterizes the six million wine bottles produced annually, earning hundreds of awards and excellent reviews from wine critics. The producer has been awarded the Earth Friendly winery status and engages in numerous environmental conservation projects alongside winemaking. Relvas also focuses on sustainable development through social and economic initiatives. Five percent of Relvas' production is certified organic wines.
