French Connection

The French Connection is a classic drink with just two ingredients, equal parts of each. According to the story, the drink got its name from the 1971 film of the same name (The French Connection). The lead role was played by Gene Hackman, who won an Oscar for his performance. The film won a total of 5 Oscars. This drink is perfect as a nightcap or after dinner and is sipped slowly over ice or neat. So put on the movie and pour yourself a drink - cheers!

2 cl cognac
2 cl amaretto liqueur

Instructions:

Mix the spirits and serve in a thick-bottomed whiskey glass with a large ice cube.
