The secret of the Negrita name goes far back in history. Bardinet began exporting rum as early as 1880. The rum became especially popular in Spain, where the product was called “Negrita” after the dark woman still on the label to this day, meaning, the small dark one. Historically Negrita is known for its powerful aroma and as an arracky dark rum, perfect for hot drinks and desserts. In 2013 Negrita was renewed, and now this fresh and fruity dark rum is also perfect to enjoy on its own or as a drink base.
