Hearty Cheese Platter

Cheese Balls
- 200g chili cream cheese or other flavored cream cheese
- approx. 100g Herkkujuustola Dörig Aina cheese
- black pepper, ground or crushed, to taste
Cheese Skewers
- 1 pkg Herkkujuustola Mouhitaler cheese
- a few rings of fresh pineapple
- grapes
- cantaloupe melon
Dates and Cheese
- Herkkujuustola Väinö cheese
- soft pitted dates
Cheese and Kiwi Berries
- 1 pc Herkkujuustola PunaHeidi cheese
- 1 container kiwi berries
Metsuri Cheese and Syrup
- 1 wheel Herkkujuustola Metsuri cheese
- 2 tbsp spruce tip syrup or maple syrup
- light bread
Additionally:
- Herkkujuustola TuhkaHeidi cheese
- Herkkujuustola Vilho cheese
- Herkkujuustola SavuHilma cheese
- crackers
- cheese picks
Instructions:
- Start by making the cheese balls. Place the chili cream cheese or other flavored cream cheese in a bowl. Grate in the Aina cheese and mix. Shape into small balls and roll the balls in black pepper. Place in the refrigerator until serving time.
- Prepare the cheese skewers. Cut the fruit into bite-sized pieces. Cut the Mouhitaler cheese into pieces. Thread the ingredients onto skewer sticks and place on a serving platter.
- Cut the Väinö Camembert cheese into pieces and place on a serving platter together with the soft pitted dates.
- Cut the PunaHeidi into pieces and place them on a serving platter together with the halved kiwi berries.
- Place the Metsuri in an oven dish and heat at 200 degrees in the oven until the cheese begins to melt. Cut a slit in the center and drizzle spruce tip or maple syrup on top. Serve with light bread on the side.
- Also serve the stunning TuhkaHeidi white mold cheese, the strong Vilho aged cheese, and cut shapes from the SavuHilma smoked cheese using a cookie cutter.
- You can also serve crackers and cheese picks.
