Salmon is packed with healthy fats, and this consistently delicious fish is a trusted choice for many at restaurants too, whether it&#8217;s oven-baked salmon, salmon medallions or even sushi. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This fatty fish pampers the taste buds, and there are at least a thousand and one ways to prepare it. Remove the pin bones from the salmon fillet and remove the skin. Place the salmon fillet in an oven dish and sprinkle with your preferred salt. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2. Mix 1 part sour cream or cr\u00e8me fra\u00eeche and 1 part cream. Add one tube of horseradish paste. Mix and pour over the salmon so that the salmon is covered. Tip: make a larger amount if you want a luscious sauce for your potatoes too!   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3. You&#8217;ll get lovely sweetness and beautiful appearance by sprinkling leek on top of the sauce. Cut a generous piece from the leek stalk and split it lengthwise in half. Then cut half-moon shaped pieces of leek to your preferred size and garnish your beauty with them.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4. Put the fish in the oven and watch the cooking thermometer. When the fish&#8217;s internal temperature reaches 42\u00b0C, it&#8217;s fit for royalty! Otherwise 40-50\u00b0C is perfectly fine. You can find cooking thermometers in almost all department stores and online shops for just a few euros across the country.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Serve the oven-baked salmon with mashed potatoes, for example. The pale pink color comes from the Pinot Noir grape. As a fun detail, a drop of water had to be added to the wine, as German wine law doesn&#8217;t allow ros\u00e9 made from Riesling.
